How do you practice self-care?
First of all, when I wake up every morning, I have to recite my daily words of hope and encouragement which I wrote myself if you don’t mind. This keeps me strong enough to stand the day. I make my situps and push-ups to keep the six pack in position to avoid any form of ” you are not fit” type of words from my wife. Problem solved. Of course the world is sometimes a little bit unfriendly so I make sure the disappointments and heart breaks don’t go out of hand. This keeps my heart in position pumping 72 times a minute the normal way. And as you know after all these the last thing I do, I smile. I go in the mirror I try to work out the smile, you know sometimes it is so hard so I need to practice on my mirror to keep my beautiful woman from ” what’s the matter?” type of questions. And the one I hate to hear is what, have you been fired from your job? I hate that question so much so, I must smile. Then she smiles and am happy off to work. Boom! saved the day.
